We met on a Deal Sauce Zoom hosted by Justin T—proof that “be open to meeting people in the community” is not a myth. We instantly connected, floated “what if we started a podcast?” …and it quickly leveled up into the REI Baddies Talk Show. We chose the show route because we knew we wouldn’t stop at interviews.
Two investors—Rachel Davis (Army veteran, author, operator) and Kate Baldwin (Key West native, Luxury Real Estate Agent, capital raiser)
—kept getting the same DMs: “Is creative finance real?” and “How do I find a buyer for this deal?” So we turned those questions into a show.
